Perspectives of Place: Capturing the Spirit of Creative Cities

We invite photographers of all ages to capture how places shape identity, creativity, and community in Qatar.

Who can Apply

• Adults: 18 years old and above, based in Qatar
• Teens: 13-17 years old, based in Qatar

Adults - we encourage adults to explore the theme in a thoughtful, artistic, or documentary style. The focus is on urban landscapes, personal narratives, or abstract interpretations of a place. 

Teens - we encourage teens to dive in a creative exploration and visual storytelling from a youth perspective. The focus is on school life, friendships, family, digital spaces, or imaginative views of the world around them.

Prizes

• The top three winners in each category will receive valuable prizes and be celebrated during a special event in December 2025.
• Selected works will be featured on the British Council and all partners' platforms.
• Photography workshops will be delivered to the winners by experienced photographers.
